Just wanted to post again re this session. Read yesterday's Tech Section in the Mercury News and found two articles that I understood a lot better. First was the issue of anonimity re Wikipedia, where if people are claiming to be "experts, " they now need to identify themselves. Yes, this goes back to the anyone can post anything on the internet which is why knowing your sources when doing research is so important and what re remind people in the library on a daily bais. Then, I read about all the new products being sold and turning pictures into merchandise. Just like we saw with flickr.
Tomorrow I start Week 4!
